The glass dropper bottle represents a professional packaging intended for precise and safe dispensing of cosmetic and specialized liquid preparations. In combination with a suitable closure, it is ideal for products where protection of the contents, easy handling, and professional, representative packaging are important. The white opaque glass provides increased protection against unwanted light, which helps protect sensitive formulation components. Thanks to its stable shape and high-quality workmanship, this bottle is suitable for both artisan and semi-professional production.
The glass dropper bottle is suitable for packaging most common oil-based and water-based serums intended for cosmetic use. Before final use, we always recommend testing the stability of your specific formulation in the packaging – monitor in particular changes in colour, odour, viscosity and any sedimentation or reactions on the inner wall of the bottle. For formulations with a higher content of active substances or essential oils, a trial test is particularly important.
The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene rules are observed. Before each refilling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol solution, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use products available on Handymade, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol (/ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/)" target="_blank" or etanol 96 % denaturovany rastlinný (/etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/)" target="_blank". After disinfection, allow the packaging and the corresponding closure to dry completely at room temperature.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material type specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle, after emptying and basic rinsing, is usually placed in a container designated for glass. The closure and any inserts made of plastic or other materials should be sorted separately according to local separate collection rules. Before handing over for recycling, remove product residues in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations and the legislation in force in your region.
When selecting a compatible closure or dropper, base your choice on the parameters indicated for the specific bottle and on the recommended combinations on Handymade. After assembly, perform a leakage test – fill the packaging with your formulation, close it, turn it upside down several times and leave it briefly in a horizontal position. Check whether any product leakage appears on the thread or in the neck area. As part of your own tests, we also recommend monitoring longer-term storage so that you can be sure that dosing and sealing are reliable.
To select suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant category (for example bottles, dropper bottles or jars). In the advanced filter you can clearly choose parameters such as neck type, size, colour or packaging material and thus narrow the offer to only those containers that fit your intentions and product type. Filtering makes it easier to navigate the range and helps you quickly find packaging that will be compatible with the available closures and dispensers.
