Glass medicine bottle with white dosing pump and smoked cap represents an elegant and professional packaging suitable for high‑quality cosmetic preparations and other liquid formulations. The combination of opaque glass and a precisely designed dispenser helps protect the contents from light, air and contamination, which is ideal for sensitive formulas with active ingredients. Thanks to the dosing pump, comfortable, hygienic and repeatedly precise dosing is ensured, which is important for facial serums, creams or emulsions.
This glass bottle with dosing pump is designed as a functional combination of flacon and applicator, which enables comfortable and controlled application of the product. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure the packaging functions optimally with your specific product.

The dosing pump is primarily intended for more liquid to medium‑viscosity products, such as facial serums, fluids, light creams or emulsions. With very dense or balm‑like textures, dosing may be limited. We therefore recommend always testing the behaviour of the specific formula in the packaging on a small trial batch and, if necessary, adjusting the viscosity of the formulation.
Before first use, we recommend thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting the glass bottle, pump and cap. The packaging can be washed with a suitable cleaning agent, rinsed with drinking water and then disinfected using alcohol‑based disinfectant solutions, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely in a clean environment and only then fill the packaging.
The packaging can be re‑used if proper hygiene principles are followed. With each refilling, the bottle, pump and cap need to be disassembled (if the construction allows), thoroughly washed and then disinfected. For disinfection we recommend alcohol solutions, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. Only after all parts are completely dry can you fill the packaging again. Such a procedure helps reduce the risk of microbial contamination and prolong the service life of both the packaging and the product itself.
For disposal, we recommend first emptying the packaging as much as possible of product residues. The glass body of the bottle is usually sorted into the glass container, while the plastic parts of the pump and cap belong in the appropriate sorted waste according to their material composition indicated in the product parameters. Before handing over for recycling, it is advisable to separate the individual components (glass separately, plastic separately). Specific recycling recommendations may differ depending on the local waste sorting system, so follow the local rules as well.
