Blue glass bottle with black cap represents a professional packaging solution suitable for filling various liquid and slightly viscous preparations. High‑quality glass combined with a precisely fitting closure helps protect formulations from external influences and contributes to the stability of their composition during storage and use. Thanks to the packaging material, it is suitable for artisanal, laboratory and small‑batch cosmetics, where cleanliness, visual presentation and practical dosing of the contents are important.
The blue glass of the bottle provides additional protection of the contents from light, which is particularly advantageous for products that are sensitive to long‑term exposure to daylight. The closure ensures reliable sealing, thereby minimising the risk of unwanted leakage during transport and shipping. The packaging is suitable for home and professional use and can be easily integrated into an existing product range thanks to the timeless appearance of the glass.
The standalone glass bottle is designed to be compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the selected product parameters. In practice, it can be combined with screw caps, dropper inserts, pipette droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators for more targeted dosing.
The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – verifying the reliability of the seal, the consistency of dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, oil, alcohol or acid content).

Thanks to the stable material, the glass bottle is also suitable for formulations that are more sensitive to external influences, such as oils, serums containing botanical extracts or aromatherapy blends. Blue glass helps reduce light penetration compared to clear glass, which can be an advantage for longer‑term storage. However, for very sensitive recipes we always recommend testing the behaviour of the product over time and following the storage conditions recommended by the raw material manufacturer.
The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed, especially when it remains within the same product line (for example the same type of serum or oil). Before each new filling, however, the bottle and closure must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected to minimise the risk of microbiological contamination and any impact on the stability of the new batch. For final disinfection we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovany rastlinny, in accordance with the recommended working procedure and safety instructions.
Before refilling, it is advisable to mechanically remove any residues of the original product, then wash the bottle in a suitable soapy or detergent solution and rinse thoroughly with clean water. After drying, we recommend disinfecting the inner surface and the thread with alcohol, for example using IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovany rastlinny. Disinfection should be carried out in a well‑ventilated area and in accordance with safety instructions. Only after the alcohol has completely evaporated is the packaging ready for a new filling.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend placing it in sorted waste collection according to the material specified in the product parameters. In most cases, the glass bottle can be cleaned of product residues and placed in a container intended for sorted glass waste in line with local regulations. A closure made of a different material (for example plastic or metal) is usually separated independently according to the material designation on the product or in the parameter table. Before disposing of the packaging in sorted waste, remove any larger product residues so that the conditions of the recycling process are not compromised.
