The glass dropper bottle represents a professional solution for precise dosing of cosmetic and functional blends. Thanks to the high-quality glass and integrated dropper, it is ideal for packaging products where controlled and hygienic withdrawal of the contents without unnecessary contamination is important. The dark colour of the glass also helps protect sensitive components from light and thus supports the longer stability and shelf life of formulations.
This glass bottle is supplied as a functional combination of packaging and dropper, designed specifically for simple and precise dosing. Combinations of containers and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Before first use, we recommend mechanically cleaning the bottle and the dropper, then rinsing thoroughly and allowing them to dry completely. For additional disinfection, it is suitable to use either isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Etanol 96 % denat.. After treatment with alcohol, allow all parts to evaporate freely and dry at room temperature, and only then fill the container with the final product.
Yes, the glass packaging can be reused if hygienic principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and dropper must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and subsequently disinfected with a suitable alcohol – for example with the products IPA 99 % or Etanol 96 % denat.. After the alcohol has completely evaporated and the parts have dried, you can safely refill the container. We recommend reserving one bottle only for a specific type of formulation and not mixing products of different types in the same packaging.
Always store the filled bottle tightly closed, in a dry place, at a stable room temperature and away from direct sunlight or heat sources. The dark glass itself contributes to light protection, but more sensitive blends (containing, for example, a high proportion of essential oils or antioxidants) will benefit from being placed in a closed cupboard or drawer. Avoid frequent temperature fluctuations and do not place the bottle directly in the shower area or above a radiator.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly. After removing product residues and rinsing, the glass part of the bottle can be placed in the appropriate glass container according to local waste sorting rules. The dropper consists of a combination of several materials (plastic, rubber and possibly metal), so it is most appropriate to separate it from the bottle and follow the recommendations of the local collection system for municipal and sorted waste. Always respect the material information given in the product parameters on the Handymade.sk website and the local guidelines for handling packaging waste.
Glass is significantly more stable than common plastics with respect to most essential oils and active substances, and is therefore a suitable choice even for concentrated blends. Nevertheless, we recommend always performing your own small compatibility test: fill in a small amount of product, leave it to stand for a few days and observe any changes (colour, scent, behaviour of the dropper or sealing). If you work with very aggressive or unusual raw materials, it is advisable not to omit this testing before long-term storage.

This allows you to easily select the bottle, dropper bottle or jar that will best correspond to your formulation and the intended dosing method.
