FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Is it possible to reuse this glass bottle?

Yes, the glass packaging can be reused provided that hygienic principles are followed. Before each refilling we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and then disinfecting it with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the alcohol has completely dried and ventilated is the bottle ready to be refilled.

How should the dropper cap with safety feature be properly cleaned before further use?

It is advisable to disassemble the dropper into individual parts to the extent allowed by its design and then clean them with lukewarm water and a mild detergent. After rinsing with clean water, let all components dry thoroughly. Before refilling, we recommend disinfecting the internal parts that come into contact with the product with an alcohol solution (e.g. IPA or ethanol), letting it evaporate and only then reassembling the dropper. This way you minimise the risk of microbial contamination of the new product.

Is this glass bottle also suitable for testing new formulations and smaller batches?

Yes, this type of glass bottle is very suitable for development samples and small test batches. It enables precise drop dosing, which allows you to easily monitor the product’s behaviour over time and conveniently compare multiple variants of the same formulation. It is particularly suitable for serums, oils, concentrates and other preparations where precise application and control of stability during longer storage is important.

How can this glass bottle and dropper be properly recycled if I do not wish to use it further?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material types specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle can usually be placed in the glass container after rinsing and removing product residues. The dropper cap may contain a combination of plastic, rubber and possibly glass, so it is advisable to separate it into individual parts where possible and sort them according to local recycling rules. Before disposal, it is good to rinse the packaging so that no product residues remain that could burden the environment.
