Can this glass bottle with spray pump be used repeatedly?

The bottle with spray pump can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, both the packaging and the spray mechanism must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. After cleaning, allow all parts to dry thoroughly to minimise the risk of microbial contamination of the product being prepared.

For what type of products is this spray packaging most suitable?

This type of bottle with spray pump is ideal for liquid products with low to medium viscosity that require gentle application in the form of a mist. We recommend rinsing the spray pump with clean water and then with alcohol, pressing the mechanism several times so that the solution passes through the entire system. Before refilling, it is advisable to disinfect the packaging with one of the recommended alcohols from the Handymade range and allow all parts to dry completely.

How can I properly dispose of or recycle the bottle and spray pump once they have reached the end of their life?

If you decide not to continue reusing the packaging, we recommend sorting it into separated waste according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass bottle is usually placed, after cleaning and removal of product residues, in the glass container; the plastic parts of the spray pump belong, after separation, in the appropriate plastic recycling container or in mixed waste if they cannot be separated. Always follow local waste sorting rules and the material composition stated in the parameter table at the product on the Handymade website so that recycling is as effective as possible.
