The glass bottle with dropper represents a professional packaging solution for precise dosing of liquid preparations where control of the amount and hygienic withdrawal of the contents are important. Durable glass ensures the stability of the packaged product and helps maintain its properties throughout the entire period of use. Thanks to the integrated dropper, the packaging is ideal for products for which drop-by-drop application onto the skin, scalp or into a mixture is crucial.
This type of dropper bottle is designed for liquid and low-viscosity formulations that require precise, repeatable dosing in small amounts. The combination of the glass container and the dropper provides practical, controlled and clean application without unnecessary product waste.
These glass bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the dropper and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after all parts of the packaging have dried is the bottle ready to be refilled.
The dropper should first be rinsed mechanically to remove residues of the previous product and then flushed with a suitable solvent or a neutral detergent, depending on the type of formulation. After rinsing, we recommend disinfecting the dropper with alcohol and allowing it to dry thoroughly to prevent dilution of the new fill. For very aromatic or intensely pigmented blends, consider using a separate dropper for each product type to avoid transfer of scent or colour.
When choosing a suitable bottle, jar or other type of packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you can find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. Using the filter, you can clearly narrow down the results according to the type of neck, size, colour and material of the packaging. This way you can easily choose a combination that will best match your formula, the dosing method and the visual preferences of your brand.
Yes, smaller glass bottles with droppers are very practical for development laboratories as well as home formulators who test several variants of the same formula. They make it possible to separate individual samples, record dosing accurately and at the same time evaluate differences in application more easily. Thanks to dropwise dosing you can better monitor viscosity, spreadability and the subjective feel of using the product.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the types of materials specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle, after emptying and basic rinsing, is sorted into the container designated for glass. The other components (for example plastic or rubber parts of the dropper) should be separated and placed in the appropriate collection according to their material, if the local sorting system allows it. By following these principles, you contribute to effective recycling and to reducing the amount of waste from packaging materials.
Before choosing, we recommend considering the type of formulation (oil-based, water-based, hydroalcoholic), the desired method of application and the planned frequency of use. The compatibility of the material used for the dropper with the active substances is also important – for highly concentrated or acidic components always carry out your own trial test. Also take into account whether you need to have the product primarily at home, in a salon or in the field; this determines the requirements for the durability and convenient portability of the packaging.
