Glass bottle with dropper is a professional packaging solution designed for precise dosing of liquid preparations where control over every drop is important. Thanks to high-quality glass and a functional dropper, it is suitable for filling cosmetic serums, oil blends, concentrated extracts and homemade formulations where you need to store the contents safely and apply them comfortably.
This type of dropper bottle ensures reliable protection of the contents against external influences and enables clean, hygienic and repeatedly precise application without unnecessary product waste. The packaging is a practical solution for small batches, test samples as well as final retail packs, whether for home or professional use.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Glass is generally considered to be a very stable and inert packaging material, therefore it is suitable even for concentrated or more sensitive cosmetic formulations such as serums, oil concentrates or active ingredients. However, before filling a specific product, we always recommend performing a compatibility test – verifying the behaviour of the formulation in contact with the packaging and the dropper seal under various storage conditions.
The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles are followed. Before each refilling, the bottle and the dropper must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and subsequently disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. Only after complete drying and evaporation of the alcohol is the packaging ready for reuse, thus minimising the risk of microbial contamination.
The dropper is designed for precise drop-by-drop dosing, which makes it easy to adjust the required amount of product according to the type of application. For thicker oils it is recommended to fill the packaging slowly and not to overfill it to the rim, in order to maintain comfortable handling. For serums and lighter formulations you can adapt the dosing – for example apply the product directly to the skin, into the palm of the hand, onto the scalp or into a measuring cup, depending on the intended use.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, environmentally friendly disposal via separate waste collection is recommended. The glass bottle should be emptied, any remaining contents rinsed out if necessary, and then placed in the container designated for glass, according to local waste sorting rules. The closure with dropper is usually a combination of several materials (plastic, rubber, possibly metal), therefore it is recommended to follow the recycling information given in the parameters of the specific product and the local waste sorting system. In this way you help minimise the impact of packaging on the environment.
On the Handymade website you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. Thanks to the filter, you can conveniently narrow down your selection according to key parameters such as neck type, size, colour or material. By combining these criteria, you will quickly find bottles, dropper bottles, jars or other packaging that best match your formulation and the intended dosing method.
