The glass bottle with sprayer represents a professional solution for packaging liquid preparations that require gentle and even application in the form of a mist. Durable glass combined with a functional mechanical sprayer ensures reliable protection of the contents and convenient dosing for home and artisan cosmetic production.
This packaging is designed to minimize the contact of the product with air and the user’s hands, thereby helping to maintain formulation stability and extend shelf life. It is particularly suitable for liquid and low-viscosity formulations that need to be dispersed into a fine aerosol – from cosmetic toners to aromatic blends for interiors.
This bottle is supplied in combination with a functional sprayer, which is adapted to this packaging type to ensure reliable sealing and comfortable application. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Glass packaging is generally very suitable for most liquid cosmetic products, including formulations containing alcohol. Before final filling, we recommend carrying out a trial filling to verify the behaviour of the specific product over time (stability of fragrance, colour and viscosity) and the functionality of the sprayer with the chosen consistency.
The packaging can be reused provided that hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and sprayer must be thoroughly washed, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after complete drying and evaporation of the alcohol component is the bottle ready for the next filling.
The sprayer is designed primarily for low-viscosity, liquid formulas. With thicker emulsions or oil blends, spraying performance may deteriorate or the nozzle may clog. Therefore, we recommend first filling a small amount of product and testing whether the consistency is suitable for spraying. If necessary, adjust the composition (for example by dilution) or choose another dosing type that is better suited to the specific product.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is recommended to recycle it in accordance with local waste-sorting rules. After thorough emptying and cleaning, the glass bottle is usually placed in the container designated for glass, while the plastic parts of the sprayer belong in plastic waste (according to the material marking on the packaging). When sorting, follow the information given in the product parameter table on Handymade.sk and the recommendations of your local waste collection.
