Glass bottle with nasal spray is a practical packaging intended mainly for pharmaceutical, cosmetic and hygiene preparations in the form of solutions. Thanks to precise dosing in the form of a fine spray, it is suitable for filling water-based or alcoholic mixtures that need to be applied directly into the nose or onto sensitive mucous membranes. The dark glass also helps protect sensitive components from light and supports the stability and safety of the filled preparation throughout the entire period of use.
This bottle with sprayer is supplied as a functional unit – a combination of glass medicine bottle and nasal dispenser. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) to verify the suitability of the packaging for the particular product and its long-term storage.

Yes, the packaging can be reused if strict hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the nasal sprayer and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcoholic preparation, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After completely drying, the packaging can be safely refilled with the prepared solution.
The nasal sprayer is intended for liquid solutions with low viscosity, so that the nozzle does not become clogged and fine spraying is ensured. It is most commonly used for saline solutions, mineral and herbal solutions, magistral nasal drops in spray form, and moisturizing and care preparations intended for application into the nose. For more viscous formulations, it is advisable to carry out a trial filling and test the smoothness of dosing.
Before repeated use, we recommend first mechanically rinsing the packaging with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing thoroughly with clean water and allowing it to dry. Subsequently, the bottle and all parts of the sprayer must be disinfected with an alcoholic preparation such as IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After the alcohol has evaporated and drying is complete, the container is ready for new filling.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the material composition given in the parameters of the specific product. The glass part can usually be placed in the glass container after first emptying it and removing any residue of the contents. The plastic components of the sprayer (upper part, tube, cap) should be separated and disposed of according to local municipal waste sorting rules.
