The glass bottle with dropper is a practical container designed for precise dosing of liquid preparations where cleanliness, stability and controlled application of the contents are important. The smooth glass surface facilitates labeling and professional product marking, the dropper enables comfortable and hygienic drop-by-drop dosing, and the container is suitable for cosmetic preparations as well as concentrated blends intended for careful, targeted use.
The standalone glass bottle with dropper is part of a system that allows you to create various packaging combinations according to the product type and the required dosing. They are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected at purchase. The combinations of containers and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test – verifying sealing, dosing and the behavior of the container in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil or water base, etc.).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The glass bottle is generally very suitable for formulations containing alcohol and essential oils, since glass is a stable and inert packaging material. For every new product, however, we recommend making a trial batch, monitoring the behavior of the formulation over time and verifying compatibility with the dropper used as well (sealing, material of the pipette and bulb). If you are planning highly concentrated or specific blends, it is appropriate to carry out longer-term stability testing during storage.
You can use the bottle repeatedly if you follow hygiene principles, ideally for the same or a similar type of product. Before every new filling, the container must be thoroughly cleaned, the residues of the original contents removed and then it must be disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or 96% denatured plant ethanol. Only after it is completely dry is the bottle ready for reuse. When changing the product type (for example from a perfume composition to a facial serum), it is advisable to consider using new packaging.
First, remove the remaining original product as well as possible by rinsing with a suitable medium (for example oil for oil blends or water or alcohol for aqueous and alcoholic solutions). Then mechanically clean the bottle (mild detergent, warm water), rinse thoroughly and let dry. Before new filling, we recommend disinfecting the inner surface with an alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or plant ethanol, and letting it evaporate completely. For the dropper, also pay attention to the pipette and the rubber part, which should not come into contact with very hot water or aggressive cleaning agents.
On the website you will find a wide range of packaging in clearly arranged categories. After clicking on the selected packaging category, you can use the advanced filter at the top of the page, which will help you quickly find suitable packaging. Products can be filtered by neck type, size, color and material, allowing you to adapt bottles, jars and closures to your specific product and brand design. When choosing, we recommend also checking the recommended combinations of containers and closures, which are tested and functional.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend recycling it according to the recommendations listed in the product parameters. After rinsing out product residues, place the glass part into the container designated for glass, in accordance with local waste sorting rules. The closure with dropper is composed of several materials (plastic, rubber, possibly metal) which are usually sorted separately from glass – therefore follow the pictograms and the manufacturer’s instructions in the parameter table. Careful sorting helps reduce the amount of waste and enables subsequent recycling of materials.
