The glass bottle with nasal spray is a practical packaging solution designed for precise, hygienic dosing of liquids in the form of a fine aerosol. Thanks to the high-quality glass body and the special construction of the sprayer, it is suitable for filling solutions that require controlled application into the nasal cavity or onto sensitive areas of the skin. Glass is chemically resistant, does not change the properties of the contents and is a stable choice even for formulations with a higher proportion of active substances.
This product represents a complete combination of a glass bottle and a specialised nasal spray, designed to form a functional unit together. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – to verify sealing, dosing uniformity and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil or water base, etc.).

Yes, the bottle is suitable for repeated use if hygiene rules are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and subsequently disinfected. For disinfection, we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol – for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry well and only then refill.
The nasal spray is intended primarily for liquid solutions of low to medium viscosity, such as aqueous solutions, saline solutions and gentle herbal or aromatic blends. Thick oil formulations or gels may impair the function of the sprayer, so it is advisable to test the specific recipe in advance and verify that the dosing mechanism works smoothly and evenly.
First disassemble the packaging into its individual parts (glass bottle, spray mechanism, cap depending on the construction). Rinse the glass part thoroughly with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent, then rinse with clean water and disinfect with a recommended product, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or 96 % plant ethanol. For the sprayer, we recommend flushing the internal capillary with water and then with a disinfectant solution, pressing the mechanism several times so that the solution passes through the entire system. Allow all parts to dry thoroughly on a clean surface.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it according to the material composition specified in the product parameters. The glass bottle, after being emptied and basically rinsed, is usually sorted into the glass container, and the plastic parts of the sprayer into sorted plastic waste (depending on the local waste sorting system). Before sorting, it is advisable to separate the glass from the plastic components so that processing lines can recycle the materials efficiently. Always follow the local waste sorting rules in your municipality or city.
