The glass bottle with dropper is a professional packaging material for the precise dosing of liquid formulations. It is particularly suitable for packaging cosmetic serums, oil blends, concentrated active ingredients and other preparations where control over the amount of product applied is important. Thanks to the glass used and the integrated dropper, the packaging is stable, hygienic and practical for everyday use.
The bottle is ideal for liquid and slightly viscous products that require precise, dropwise dosing without unnecessary contact with the external environment. High-quality glass ensures good compatibility with common cosmetic and laboratory blends, while maintaining the purity of the contents and facilitating control of the product’s visual properties.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) depending on the parameters selected directly in the product detail. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) to ensure the optimal performance of the final product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
To select a suitable bottle, pill bottle, jar or other packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter in the packaging material category. It is located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant category and allows you to filter the range according to several criteria – in particular neck type, size, colour and material. This allows you to quickly narrow down the selection to the packaging that will best suit your product and filling technology.
Yes, the glass packaging can be reused if hygienic principles are observed. However, before each new filling it is necessary to thoroughly clean the bottle, dropper and any additional components, and then disinfect them with a suitable agent. For disinfection we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which you can find in the range as the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After disinfection, let all parts dry completely and only then refill the container.
After emptying the contents, first remove product residues by suitable rinsing, for example with warm water and a mild cleaning agent that is compatible with the formulation used. Then rinse the packaging repeatedly with clean water so that no cleaner residues remain. After washing, it is necessary to disinfect the bottle and dropper – it is recommended to apply isopropyl alcohol or ethanol in an appropriate amount, with sufficient contact time. Allow the disinfectants to evaporate and dry the packaging completely in a clean environment to minimize the risk of microbial contamination during subsequent filling.
The dropper bottle is most suitable for liquid and mildly viscous products where precise and controlled application in small quantities is required. These include in particular facial and body oils, serums with a high content of active ingredients, various concentrates, aromatic oil blends or laboratory solutions used in testing. For thicker emulsions or gels, we recommend always testing the behaviour of the product in the dropper so that you can be sure that the dosing will be smooth and comfortable.
Yes, the glass bottle with dropper is also suitable for preparing smaller trial batches, samples for clients or internal testing of new formulations. It allows convenient dosing even with highly concentrated formulations and makes it easier to compare multiple product variants. When working with multiple samples, we recommend labelling the bottles clearly, for example with a label indicating batch number, production date and a brief description of the composition, so that you have maximum control over your testing.
If you decide not to use the bottle any further, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste-sorting rules and the information given in the product parameters. The glass parts of the packaging are usually placed in containers designated for glass after you have removed any product residues. Caps, droppers and other components should be separated and sorted according to their material (for example plastic or metal), or handed in within collection schemes for packaging materials. In this way you will reduce the amount of waste and contribute to the efficient recycling of raw materials.
