The glass bottle with dropper represents a professional packaging solution for precise and hygienic dosing of liquid preparations in cosmetics as well as in small-scale laboratory or artisanal production. Thanks to the high-quality glass and the practical dropper, it is suitable for packaging products for which control of the amount, cleanliness of application and protection of the contents from external influences are important. The glossy dark glass also helps reduce light penetration to sensitive components of formulations, which contributes to their longer stability.
The bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean and disinfect the packaging, ideally using a suitable alcohol such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After washing, allow the bottle and the dropper to dry completely to minimise the risk of microbial contamination of the new product.
The bottle with dropper is ideal for products that require precise drop-by-drop dosing. Typically, these are facial and hair serums, oil elixirs, concentrated active substances, aromatherapeutic blends, special oil formulations, or possibly test solutions and auxiliary concentrates used when mixing your own cosmetics or in artisanal production.
We recommend storing products in the bottle in a dry, clean and shaded place at a stable room temperature, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. It is important that the dropper is always tightly closed, which reduces the contact of the contents with air and moisture. When storing, avoid extreme temperature fluctuations that could negatively affect the properties of your formulation.
First remove any residues of the original product from the bottle and, if necessary, rinse it with a suitable solvent (for example, oil for oil-based formulations). Then wash the packaging in warm water with a mild cleaning agent, rinse well and allow to dry. Before a new filling, it is necessary to disinfect the inner surface – we recommend using IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Allow the disinfectant solution to act briefly, pour off the excess and again let the packaging dry completely.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the recommendations given in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade website. The glass part of the bottle can usually be handed over, after emptying and basic cleaning, to the appropriate separate collection for glass. The dropper and any plastic parts need to be separated and disposed of according to the type of material specified in the product parameters. By following these principles, you will support a more environmentally friendly approach.
