The glass bottle with dropper represents a professional and elegant packaging solution suitable for various liquid formulations where precise dosing and protection of the contents are important. Thanks to the combination of durable glass and a practical dropper, it enables safe, convenient and controlled application of products that require hygienic and precise use.
The dark, opaque glass provides the product with a natural barrier against light and helps protect sensitive components of the contents from degradation. Such a dropper bottle is ideal for formulations where you need reliable packaging that will maintain the stability, quality and appearance of the product throughout the entire period of use.
The glass bottle itself is compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators), according to the selected parameters in the product detail. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (seal integrity, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Glass is generally a very stable packaging material and is commonly used for products containing essential and fragrance oils. However, it is always recommended to carry out your own compatibility test – fill a small amount of the formulation, leave it to stand for a certain time and check the behaviour of both the product and the packaging (change in scent, colour change, possible sedimentation). With a properly chosen formulation, this bottle provides reliable protection even for concentrated oil blends.
The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dropper must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, for example using isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. Only after it is completely dry is the bottle ready for further use. When changing the type of product (e.g. significantly different scent or composition), we recommend paying increased attention to cleaning to avoid unwanted mixing of scents or components.
First mechanically remove any residues of the original product, then wash the packaging with warm water and a suitable detergent. After thoroughly rinsing with clean water, we recommend disinfecting the bottle and the dropper – ideally using alcohol-based products, such as IPA 99 % or 96 % plant-based ethanol. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry naturally at room temperature. Packaging prepared in this way is suitable for refilling while reducing the risk of microbial contamination.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend placing it in sorted waste collection according to the type of material indicated in the parameters of the specific product. The glass part of the bottle can usually be placed in a container intended for glass, while the plastic or rubber components of the dropper (cap, pipette, sealing) must be separated and sorted into the appropriate bins according to local waste sorting rules. Before recycling, it is advisable to empty the bottle and, if necessary, rinse it so that no larger product residues remain inside.
