The glass bottle with a glossy black surface and black-gold dropper represents an elegant and practical packaging for concentrated blends that require precise drop-by-drop dosing. Thanks to the high-quality glass and functional dropper, it enables safe packaging and convenient application of various liquid preparations without the risk of excessive dosing. The dark, opaque glass provides increased protection from light, which helps protect sensitive components from degradation during storage and use.
This glass bottle belongs among the standalone packaging components that are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems, according to the selected parameters in the offer. It can be combined with screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators for targeted application. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

The bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed, especially for your own home or artisan production. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable product, for example with isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and undesirable changes in your formulations.
Before the first filling, we recommend mechanically cleaning the bottle from any dust impurities, rinsing it with a suitable cleaning agent and drying it thoroughly. It is then appropriate to disinfect the inner surface of the packaging and the parts that come into contact with the product with an alcohol solution, for example using the products IPA 99 % or Ethanol 96 % denatured. Before filling, make sure that no residues of cleaning agents or water remain in the packaging.
The even dosing of the dropper is influenced by the viscosity of the filled product as well as by the way it is handled. It is recommended to fill the bottle so that the dropper remains partially immersed in the contents, which makes it easier to draw up the liquid. During the first use, it is advisable to press the dropper several times to fill the pipette and then dispense drops with the bottle held in a vertical position. For more viscous oils or serums, it may be necessary to press the dropper slightly more slowly to ensure smooth dosing.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the material composition stated in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle can, after emptying and basic cleaning from product residues, be placed in the collection container designated for glass. The dropper usually consists of several materials (glass, plastic, rubber), so it is appropriate to separate these parts from each other and sort them according to local waste collection rules. In case of any doubts, follow the recommendations stated in the parameter sheet and in the local waste sorting system.
