This glass bottle is a standalone package that can be combined with various types of caps and dispensing systems according to the selected parameters. The bottles are compatible with various types of caps and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators), depending on the selected accessories available from Handymade.sk.
The packaging and cap combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially for formulas with a higher content of acids, alcohols or essential oils.

Yes, the glass packaging can be used repeatedly if hygienic principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dispenser must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After thorough washing, rinsing and drying, the packaging can be refilled with a new formulation.
Glass is generally a suitable material for formulations containing essential oils, because it is stable and does not react with most commonly used aromatic substances. However, for highly concentrated or atypical blends we recommend carrying out a compatibility test – fill a small amount of the product and after a certain time check the behaviour of the dispenser (sealing, smoothness of dosing) and the condition of the packaging.
First, we recommend mechanically rinsing the packaging with warm water and a mild cleaning agent suitable for contact with cosmetic packaging. Then rinse the bottle thoroughly with clean water so that no detergent residues remain. After drying, disinfect the inner part of the packaging by rinsing or spraying with alcohol, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Clean the dispenser carefully so as not to damage the mechanism, and allow all parts to dry completely before reuse.
If you decide not to recycle the packaging through repeated use, we recommend separating the glass bottle and the plastic dispenser. Clean the glass part from any product residues and place it in the container designated for glass according to local recycling rules. Dispose of the dispenser, as a mixture of plastic components, in sorted waste according to the instructions of your municipality (usually residual or plastic waste, depending on the local system). We recommend following the material designation given in the product parameters on Handymade.sk and the waste sorting rules in your region.
