Yes, the glass packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle, rinsing it and then disinfecting it with a suitable agent, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. This will ensure that the packaging is ready for new filling without undesirable residues of the previous product.
Before the first filling, we recommend thoroughly rinsing the bottle and the closure with warm water and a mild cleaning agent, removing any possible impurities and then rinsing them well with clean water. After drying, it is advisable to disinfect the packaging with an alcoholic solution, for example using preparations based on isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, and allow it to air dry. Packaging prepared in this way is suitable for filling cosmetic formulations.
The safety, ribbed cap with lock is also suitable for home use, because it helps reduce the risk of unintended opening of the bottle, for example by children or when carried in a bag. At the same time, it provides a tight closure, which is important for product stability and protection against leakage of the contents. During manufacturing and filling, always follow the recommended principles of safe storage, especially with concentrated preparations.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with applicable local regulations. The glass bottle can usually be placed, after thorough emptying, rinsing and removal of product residues, into the container designated for glass. The plastic or composite cap is typically sorted separately according to the material type. When recycling, follow the information given in the parameters of the specific product and the local waste sorting system.
