Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if hygienic principles are followed. Before each new filling, both the bottle and the dispensing part must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination of the new batch of product. For disinfection we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, let all parts dry completely and only then refill the bottle again.

We recommend first disassembling the dispenser to the extent allowed by its construction and rinsing it with lukewarm water and a mild cleaning agent intended for laboratory or cosmetic tools. It is then appropriate to pump clean water several times through the mechanism in order to remove residues of the original product. After mechanical cleaning, the internal parts can be disinfected with an alcoholic solution, which is left to act and then the dispenser is allowed to dry thoroughly. Do not expose the dispenser to extreme temperatures or aggressive solvents that could damage the sealing elements.

The bottle with cream dispenser is ideal especially for light to medium-viscosity emulsions, gels and fluid creams that can be pumped without problems by the dispensing mechanism. For very dense balms, butters or anhydrous preparations with a high wax content, dispensing may be more difficult or incomplete. For a new formulation we therefore recommend first testing the dispensing on a small trial sample in order to verify the smoothness and accuracy of application.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend disposing of it in accordance with the material composition specified in the product parameters. After emptying the contents, the glass part should be placed in the container intended for glass sorting. The plastic components of the dispenser, such as the pump, tube and any seals, must be separated and placed in the appropriate plastic container according to local waste sorting rules. Before recycling, it is always appropriate to remove product residues so that the quality of the recycling material is not affected.
