The glass bottle with cream dispenser is a professional packaging solution designed primarily for filling cream and gel preparations that require precise and hygienic dosing. High-quality glass provides high chemical resistance to common cosmetic ingredients and formulation stability, which makes the bottle suitable for both artisan and semi-professional cosmetics production. Dark, opaque glass naturally helps reduce light penetration to sensitive ingredients and contributes to better protection of the contents during storage.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems according to the selected parameters, especially with cream dispensers, screw caps, droppers, sprayers and practical applicators, which are available in the relevant categories of the packaging range. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Glass is generally a very stable and resistant material suitable even for formulations containing essential oils at the recommended cosmetic concentrations. However, with a very high content of essential oils or atypical ingredients, we recommend performing your own stability test to verify the long-term behaviour of the product in contact with the packaging and the dispenser.
The packaging can be reused if strict hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is important to thoroughly clean the bottle and the dispenser, and then disinfect them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 %. This minimizes the risk of microbial contamination and of affecting the stability of the next product batch.
Before the first filling, we recommend mechanically rinsing the bottle, then washing it with a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing thoroughly with potable water and allowing it to dry completely. After drying, it is advisable to disinfect the inside of the packaging and, if necessary, also those parts of the dispenser that come into contact with the product, with alcohol – for example using the preparations IPA 99 % or Ethanol 96 %. Only after the alcohol has completely evaporated is the packaging ready for filling.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material types specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle, once emptied and rinsed, is typically sorted into the container designated for glass. The plastic or composite parts of the dispenser should be separated and placed into the appropriate container for plastics or mixed waste, according to local sorting rules. Always adapt the exact recommendation to the information in the parameters of the specific packaging and to the local waste collection system.
For easier selection of packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you can find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. With the filter, you can quickly narrow down the offer according to neck type, size, colour and packaging material. This gives you a more precise overview of the options that are suitable for your specific formulation and dosing method.
