The glass bottle with a glossy black surface and an elegant black-and-gold dispenser is a representative packaging suitable for modern cosmetic formulations, serums, emulsions and other liquid products. Thanks to high-quality glass and precise dosing, it helps maintain the stability of the contents, minimizes contact with the external environment and supports the professional presentation of the brand. The dark, opaque glass also contributes to the protection of sensitive components from light, which is especially important for products prone to degradation.
Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation). This will ensure long-term product stability, comfort during use and will minimise the risk of leakage or changes in the properties of the contents.

The glass body of the bottle is generally suitable for most oil-based and water-based cosmetic formulations. Before including it in sale, however, we recommend performing your own compatibility test with the specific product – verifying the behaviour of the packaging over time, the stability of fragrance, colour and consistency, and at the same time testing the functionality of the dispenser during long-term use.
The packaging can be reused provided that strict hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dispenser must be thoroughly cleaned and subsequently disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol of plant origin. Only after complete drying and evaporation of the alcohol is the bottle ready for refilling, which minimises the risk of microbial contamination and impact on product stability.
Before re-use, we recommend first cleaning the packaging mechanically – rinsing off the residues of the original product with a suitable cleaning agent and rinsing thoroughly with drinking water. Then apply disinfection using an alcohol solution (e.g. IPA 99 % or 96 % ethanol), let it act and dry completely. It is advisable to rinse and pump a small amount of alcohol through the dispenser to clean the entire mechanism, while it is important to prevent the ingress of impurities during drying.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend its environmentally friendly disposal according to the type of material specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle can usually be placed in the glass container after removing any product residues. The dispenser and plastic components should be sorted according to the material designation into the appropriate collection container. Before disposal, empty and clean the packaging as much as possible in order to minimise product residues in the waste.
