The glass bottle in a black matte finish with a silver matte dropper represents a professional and elegant packaging solution for concentrates, serums and other high-value formulations. Thanks to its precise workmanship and high-quality dropper closure, it is suitable for filling liquid products where accurate dosing and reliable protection of the contents are important. The dark, opaque glass naturally helps to reduce light penetration to the sensitive components of the formulas.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dropper must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely and only then use them again for filling.
Glass is a stable and resistant material, so it is generally suitable for formulations with a higher proportion of concentrated oils or active ingredients. Nevertheless, we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test with the specific formula – fill a smaller amount, observe the behaviour of the product over time and check the sealing of the dropper so that dosing is precise and without leakage.
We recommend storing the filled packaging in a dry, clean place away from direct sunlight and temperature extremes. The dark glass in itself helps protect the sensitive contents from light, but ideally the bottle should be kept in a closed cabinet or drawer. Make sure that the dropper is always tightly screwed on, thereby reducing the product’s contact with air and supporting the stability of the formula.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend placing the cleaned bottle in the appropriate separated waste stream according to the material specified in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade website. The glass part is usually sorted into the container designated for glass, while the dropper may be a combination of several materials, so it is advisable to follow the local sorting rules. Before recycling, always remove any product residues and at least roughly rinse the packaging to facilitate its further processing.
