Glass bottle with nasal spray applicator represents a practical and hygienic packaging for the preparation and dosing of liquid preparations intended for application into the nose. Thanks to precise atomization, it enables even application of the formulation and controlled dosing with each press. Matte, opaque glass helps protect the sensitive contents from light, which is especially important for formulations with a higher proportion of active substances or natural extracts.
This type of packaging is suitable for home and professional use and, when handled correctly, supports the stability of the contents and reduces the risk of contamination during repeated use. The combination of a glass medicine bottle and a nasal spray is ideal for targeted application of liquid preparations in smaller doses directly to the desired area.
Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (tightness, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

The nasal sprayer is optimized for aqueous and water-alcohol solutions with low to medium viscosity. Thick gel textures and oil blends may reduce the quality of atomization or completely prevent dosing. Before filling the final formula, we always recommend testing the spray functionality with a smaller amount of product and adjusting the composition if necessary (dilution, change of viscosity).
The packaging can be reused if strict hygiene rules are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the spray mechanism must be disassembled as far as possible, mechanically cleaned, thoroughly rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation. We recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example products available on Handymade: IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely at room temperature and only then refill and reassemble them.
We recommend storing the filled glass bottle with spray tightly closed, in an upright position, in a dry and cooler place away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. This minimizes the risk of changes in the properties of the formula and of wear of the plastic parts of the sprayer. For sensitive formulations, follow your own stability tests and the recommendations for the specific raw materials used.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the material composition specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the packaging (the medicine bottle) can, after emptying and basic rinsing, be placed in the container intended for packaging glass. The spray mechanism and plastic parts (possibly also rubber components) are usually made of different materials, therefore dispose of them in the appropriate container for plastic waste or hand them over at a collection yard in accordance with local waste-sorting rules. Before recycling, always check the current recommendations of your municipality or city.
