Glass medicine bottle with black cap and pour insert represents a professional packaging suitable for careful and controlled dosing of liquid preparations. Thanks to the combination of high‑quality glass and a practical dosing insert, it is ideal for products where precise and hygienic dispensing of the contents is important. The packaging is designed to protect the contents from external influences, to be stable during storage, and at the same time to look aesthetic in cosmetic as well as laboratory or artisan applications.
This glass bottle is supplied together with a black closure and a practical pour insert, which ensure comfortable and controlled dosing of the contents. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure the packaging will function reliably also with your specific product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the glass medicine bottle with pour insert is suitable for various liquid cosmetic formulations such as facial serums, toners or treatment solutions. Thanks to precise pouring, you keep the amount of product used under control and the contents are protected from unnecessary contact with air and impurities. Before the first filling, we recommend cleaning and disinfecting the packaging thoroughly.
The glass medicine bottle can be reused for different products if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean and disinfect the packaging thoroughly, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol or plant‑based ethanol. In this way you minimize the risk of microbial contamination and undesirable reaction of residues of the original product with the new formulation. When changing the type of product (for example from oil‑based to water‑based), we recommend an even more thorough cleaning procedure and adequate drying.
After the contents have been used up, we recommend first rinsing the bottle with warm water and a mild cleaning agent suitable for glass, then rinsing it thoroughly with clean water so that no detergent residues remain. Then disinfect the packaging using alcohol – for example by using the product IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 % plant‑based denatured. After applying the disinfectant, let the packaging dry well at room temperature in a clean environment. When cleaning, also pay attention to the closure and the pour insert so that the entire dosing system remains hygienically safe.
If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend sorting it into separated waste according to the material. The glass part of the bottle, after being emptied and basically rinsed, can be thrown into a container designated for glass. The plastic cap and pour insert should be sorted according to local rules for plastic waste, if this is possible within your collection system. We recommend checking the information on material composition in the parameter table of the specific product on the Handymade.sk website and following it so that recycling is as effective as possible.
Yes, the glass medicine bottle is also very practical for smaller test series, product samples or laboratory trials. The sturdy glass and reliable closure with pour insert enable safe transport and use even with repeated opening. This type of packaging is suitable when you need to present a product in a representative glass container with practical dosing, while at the same time you do not want to use large volumes.
When choosing suitable packaging, you can use the extended filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant category (for example bottles, medicine bottles or cosmetic packaging). In the extended filter you can clearly choose parameters such as type and diameter of the neck, size of the packaging, colour or material. By combining these criteria, you quickly narrow down the offer to only those packages that meet your product as well as technical requirements for filling and dosing.
