Yes, the bottle can be used repeatedly with proper handling. However, before each new filling it is essential to clean and disinfect the packaging thoroughly in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination. For disinfection we recommend using a suitable alcohol‑based product, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol available in the Handymade offer. After disinfection, allow the bottle to dry completely and only then fill it again.

First rinse the bottle with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent and thoroughly remove residues of the original product. Then we recommend disinfecting the packaging using an alcohol solution, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol in a quality grade intended for cosmetic use. After treatment with alcohol, allow the bottle to drip off freely and dry completely at room temperature so that it is ready for new filling.

After selecting a suitable closure or dispenser according to the neck type, we always recommend performing your own compatibility test. Fill the bottle with your formulation, screw the cap on tightly and turn the bottle over several times or shake it gently. Check that there is no leakage around the thread area and that the dosing is even. For more viscous or oily products it is also advisable to verify longer‑term storage in different positions so that you can be sure the combination of packaging and closure is fully functional for your formulation.

If you decide not to use the packaging any further, it is advisable to recycle it according to the material specified in the product parameters. After emptying and rinsing, the glass bottle is usually placed in the container intended for glass; the cap and any plastic or metal parts must, however, be sorted separately according to their material. Before placing it in the sorted‑waste collection, we recommend removing product residues and labels as far as is practically possible. By correctly sorting the packaging you support its reuse and reduce the amount of waste.
