Glass bottle – pharmaceutical vial with aluminium cap represents a professional packaging solution suitable for reliable storage of various liquid and partially viscous formulations. Thanks to high-quality glass and a precisely fitting metal closure, this bottle is a practical solution for home and artisan projects where cleanliness, stability and secure sealing of the contents are important. The combination of a glass pharmaceutical vial and metal cap is aesthetically pleasing, resistant in normal handling and allows convenient dispensing during filling and use.
This separate glass bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected at purchase. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes, the packaging can, with proper handling, be reused. However, with every new filling it is necessary to thoroughly clean the bottle and the cap and then disinfect them, ideally using suitable disinfectants such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Adhering to hygiene principles contributes to the safety and stability of the final product.
Before refilling, we recommend first mechanically removing residues of the original product, then rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning agent and rinsing well with water. After drying, it is advisable to disinfect the inner surface and the closure, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, allow it to air out, and only then fill it with a new product.
If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend recycling it according to the material types specified in the product parameters. The glass part can generally, after emptying and basic rinsing, be placed in a glass container within the separate collection system. The metal aluminium cap should be separated from the bottle and placed in the appropriate collection for metals, if such a collection exists in your municipality. Following local recycling rules helps reduce the amount of waste and makes the reuse of materials more efficient.
Glass pharmaceutical vials are universal packaging and are suitable for many cosmetic formulations, especially for various solutions, serums or toners. For very aggressive or atypical components (for example high concentrations of acids, specific solvents or highly alkaline products), we recommend always performing your own compatibility test. This consists of filling a smaller amount of product and monitoring any changes to the packaging, the closure or the contents during a shorter test period.
