This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and of affecting the stability of the new fill.

First remove the residues of the original product, rinse the bottle with warm water and a suitable detergent and then allow it to be thoroughly rinsed with clean water. After the inner surface has dried, it is advisable to disinfect the packaging with an alcohol solution, for example using the products IPA 99 % or Ethanol 96 % denatured. Before filling, make sure that no residues of cleaning agent or water remain in the bottle.
