The glass bottle with dropper is a practical and professional packaging for various liquid preparations, ensuring precise and controlled dosing. Thanks to the combination of the glass container and the dropper with closure, it is suitable for packaging cosmetic as well as artisan formulations where cleanliness, stability and comfortable use are important.
This type of packaging is ideal for packaging liquid products, serums, oils and concentrated blends because it minimizes the contact of the contents with air and the user’s hands while at the same time facilitating drop-by-drop application. Glass is a material that has long been proven for the safe storage of more sensitive components and, together with the dropper, forms a functional solution for both home and professional use.
Bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) so that you can be sure of the optimal performance of your product under the specific storage and usage conditions.

Yes, the packaging can be reused for suitable types of use if you observe basic hygiene principles. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, for example using technical alcohol such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only then is it appropriate to refill the bottle with a new formulation.
First we recommend rinsing the bottle with warm water and a suitable cleansing agent to remove residues of the original contents. Then it should be thoroughly rinsed with clean water and allowed to dry completely. Before the next filling, the packaging must be disinfected, for example using IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based, and it is important to follow the safety instructions given for these products.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly. The glass part of the bottle can, after emptying and basic rinsing, be placed in the container intended for glass, unless local collection rules state otherwise. The plastic and any rubber parts of the closure and dropper should be separated from the bottle and sorted according to the type of material indicated in the product parameters (for example the plastic closure into plastics, any composite parts according to local recommendations). When sorting, always follow the recycling symbols on the packaging and the recommendations of your municipality or city.
Glass packaging is generally considered stable and suitable for many concentrated or more sensitive preparations, since glass is chemically inert towards a wide spectrum of cosmetic ingredients. Nevertheless, we recommend first testing every new formulation in a smaller amount to check the behaviour of the product in contact with the packaging under the planned storage conditions (temperature, light, storage duration). The test will also help you verify the functionality of the dropper and the sealing of the closure at the specific viscosity of the product.
