Glass bottle with dropper is a professional packaging solution designed for precise dosing of liquid preparations such as cosmetic serums, oils, essential blends or concentrated solutions. The transparent glass allows for easy visual inspection of the contents and their consistency, while the integrated dropper ensures comfortable, hygienic and repeatedly accurate dosing without unnecessary product waste. Thanks to the high-quality packaging glass, the bottle is suitable for filling products that require a stable, chemically resistant and long-term reliable packaging solution.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example, screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators), depending on the selected parameters for the specific product. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – check the sealing, the smoothness of dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with your specific formulation (viscosity, type of solvent, content of oils or alcohol).
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The glass bottle is designed as a universal packaging for a wide range of cosmetic preparations, including oil-based and water-based solutions. Glass is a stable and inert material that is generally suitable for most common cosmetic formulations. However, we always recommend testing your specific recipe in a small trial batch to verify the behaviour of the product during long-term storage in this type of packaging.
The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dropper must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely at room temperature. Only then refill the packaging to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and to maintain the stability of your product.
To preserve the stability of the contents, we recommend storing the bottle tightly closed, in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. It is important to always close the dropper carefully after use to minimise the contact of the product with air and ambient humidity. For more sensitive formulations (for example with a higher content of active substances or essential oils) it is advisable to monitor changes in the product’s scent, colour and viscosity and, if necessary, shorten the recommended period of use.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material type specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle can generally be handed over to a glass collection container after emptying and basic rinsing. The plastic and rubber parts of the dropper (cap, pipette, seals) should be separated and sorted according to local rules for plastic and residual waste collection. Before disposal, try to remove product residues from the packaging in order to facilitate the recycling process and reduce the impact on the environment.
The simplest way to select a suitable bottle, pharmaceutical vial or other packaging is to use the advanced filter in the packaging category. After clicking on the relevant category, the advanced filter is located at the top of the page and allows you to quickly filter products according to key parameters – you can select the neck type, packaging size, colour and material. This makes it easy to find packaging that will suit your specific formulation, brand design and desired dosing method.
