This glass bottle with spray pump forms a ready‑to‑use, functional combination of container and dosing component. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure the packaging works reliably with your particular product.

Yes, the glass bottle can be reused if correct hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the packaging, rinsing it and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol‑based preparation, for example using the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant‑based. Only after it has completely dried is the bottle ready to be refilled.
The spray pump should be cleaned separately from the glass part. After emptying the container, fill the bottle with clean water or a diluted alcohol solution, put the spray pump back on and press several times to flush the inner tube and the mechanism itself. Then allow the components to air dry at room temperature. Avoid using cleaning agents that are too viscous and high temperatures, so that the plastic parts of the spray pump are not damaged.
The bottle with spray pump is ideal for liquid preparations with low to medium viscosity that need to be atomised into a fine mist. It is most commonly used for facial and body sprays, hydrolats, toners, hair lotions, air fresheners and aromatherapeutic blends for the body or room. For thicker emulsions and oils, we always recommend testing whether the mechanism can dispense the product reliably.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it according to the material composition given in the product parameters. The glass part should be placed in a container intended for glass once any remaining contents have been removed. The plastic spray pump and any other plastic components should be separated into plastic collection, if local waste sorting rules allow this. Before handing it over for recycling, it is practical to rinse the packaging so that no product residues remain inside.
