However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – checking sealing, dosing, backflow and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil or water base, etc.).

Can this glass bottle be reused?

Yes, the glass bottle can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned, its integrity checked and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation (for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based). Only after the alcohol has completely dried and evaporated is the bottle ready for reuse.

How should I properly clean the bottle before first use?

Before the first filling, it is advisable to rinse the bottle mechanically, remove any dust and impurities and then disinfect it with alcohol. We recommend using high-percentage alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After rinsing with alcohol, leave the packaging to dry on its own so that the alcohol completely evaporates and no unintended change to your formulation occurs.

How can I dispose of or recycle the bottle in an environmentally friendly way if I do not want to reuse it?

If you decide not to use the bottle anymore, we recommend recycling it according to the material specified in the product parameters. After emptying and basic rinsing, place the glass packaging in the sorted glass collection (usually a green or white container according to local rules). Dispose of the closure, any seals or dispensing components according to their material composition – plastic and metal parts are sorted separately, if the local collection system allows this. In this way you support the reuse of raw materials and reduce environmental impact.

For which types of products is this bottle most suitable in terms of consistency?

The bottle is ideal for liquid and low-viscosity formulations such as water-based and oil-based solutions, serums, active concentrates, aromatherapeutic blends and light fluids. For thicker creams or gels, we recommend considering a combination with a suitable dispensing system (e.g. pump, dropper, applicator) or choosing packaging primarily designed for more viscous products so that dispensing is comfortable and precise.
