To choose the right bottle or other packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you can find at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category. Using the filter, you can easily narrow down the range according to parameters such as neck type, packaging size, colour and material, and thus select the packaging that best corresponds to your product’s properties and the desired dosing method.

The glass packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable disinfectant, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. Only after complete drying and evaporation of the alcohol is the bottle ready for refilling.

Before repeated use, it is advisable first to clean the bottle mechanically from residues of the original product, then wash it with warm water and an appropriate cleaning agent and rinse it well. After thorough drying, we recommend disinfecting the bottle with an alcohol-based preparation such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination. After the alcohol has evaporated, the packaging is ready for new filling. For sensitive formulations, we recommend carrying out a trial filling and monitoring the stability of the product.

The safety cap is designed to seal reliably when closed correctly and to reduce the risk of unintentional opening during handling and transport. When shipping finished products, however, we recommend always performing your own leak test with the specific formulation, checking that the cap is properly tightened and considering the use of additional protection (for example transport inserts or suitable void-fill material in the parcel) so that the packaging is also protected against mechanical damage.

When selecting caps and dispensers, it is important to take into account the neck type of the bottle, the viscosity of the product and the desired mode of application. For thinner liquids, droppers or fine mist sprayers may be suitable, while for thicker formulations, applicators or pumps are more appropriate. Although the combinations available directly on the product page are tested, we always recommend testing compatibility with your specific formula, in particular with regard to sealing, even dosing and the long-term stability of the product in the chosen packaging.

If you decide not to use the bottle any further, we recommend recycling it according to the recommendations given in the product parameters. The glass part can generally be placed in the appropriate glass container after removing any product residues and separating the cap. The plastic safety cap should be sorted according to the type of plastic specified in the product parameter table and handed over to the appropriate separate collection. In this way you support efficient material recycling and reduce the amount of waste.
