The glass bottle in this configuration is supplied as a functional combination of packaging with cream dispenser, ready for direct use without the need for additional closure selection. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) before starting final production or filling a larger product batch.

FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Can this glass bottle with cream dispenser be used repeatedly?

Yes, the bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or 96% denatured plant ethanol. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely, check the functionality of the dispenser and only then refill the container.

How should I properly clean the bottle before the next use so that I do not affect the stability of the cream?

First mechanically remove as much as possible of the residues of the original product, then rinse the packaging with a suitable cleaning agent and water. After rinsing, use an alcohol-based disinfectant, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, making sure to also flush through the dispenser mechanism. Finally, allow all components to dry at room temperature on a clean, uncontaminated surface and, before filling, make sure that no residues of cleaning agents or water remain in the container.

For what type of consistency is this cream dispenser most suitable?

The dispenser is ideal for semi-liquid and creamy formulations such as emulsion creams, fluids, lighter body milks or gel-cream textures. For very thick, balm-like or highly viscous products, dosing may be less smooth, so before serial filling we recommend performing a test with a smaller amount of the formula and verifying that the chosen consistency allows comfortable and even dosing.

How can I safely dispose of or recycle this packaging if I do not want to use it further?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend its responsible recycling. The glass part of the bottle can usually be placed in sorted glass collection after removal of product residues, according to local rules. The plastic components of the dispenser (pump, tube, any plastic parts) should be separated according to the material type specified in the product parameters and placed in the appropriate plastic container, or in mixed waste if local regulations do not allow their sorting. Before handing over for collection, we recommend rinsing the packaging at least roughly, in order to minimise residues of the cosmetic product.
