Is this glass bottle suitable for repeated use?

Yes, the glass container can be safely reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the cap must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection, you can use the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Only after it is completely dry is the bottle ready for the next filling.

How should the bottle be properly cleaned before first use?

Before first use, we recommend rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing it thoroughly with drinking water, and then, if necessary, rinsing it once more with demineralized water. After washing, it is advisable to disinfect the container with alcohol (for example using preparations available on Handymade) and allow it to dry completely at room temperature. Clean the cap separately to prevent residual water from seeping into the thread and seal.
