Glass bottle – medicine bottle represents a professional packaging solution suitable for precise dosing and safe storage of various liquid preparations. The transparent glass allows for easy visual inspection of the contents and is a stable, long-term proven packaging material for both cosmetic and laboratory formulations.
In combination with a high-quality screw cap with a safety ring, this glass medicine bottle provides reliable sealing, minimizes the risk of contamination and is ideal for packaging smaller doses of products for which accuracy and hygienic handling are important.
The glass medicine bottles in this category are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected at purchase. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – especially in terms of sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation.

Yes, the glass medicine bottle is suitable for packaging various cosmetic serums, active solutions and concentrated preparations, provided that its dimensions, neck type and the selected closure are adapted to the specific formulation. Before final filling, we recommend making a trial batch to verify the behaviour of the product during storage and dosing.
The glass bottle can be used repeatedly if strict hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol or denatured ethanol. For repeated use with different types of formulations (e.g. oily vs. aqueous solutions), always add a visual inspection to check that no residues of the previous product remain in the packaging.
Before a new filling, first remove the residues of the original product, rinse the packaging with a suitable cleaning agent and then rinse thoroughly with clean water. After drying, we recommend disinfecting the inner surface and the closure with alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after complete evaporation of the remaining alcohol and after checking the cleanliness is the packaging ready for further filling.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it responsibly. The glass part should be emptied, as far as possible freed from product residues and placed in the container designated for glass according to local waste sorting rules. A closure made of another material must be sorted separately according to the marking in the product parameters. Thanks to proper recycling, the material can be reprocessed and the amount of waste is reduced.
