The glass bottle with a matte white dropper represents professional packaging for cosmetic formulations, serums, oils and concentrated blends where precise dosing is important. The combination of high-quality glass and a dropper enables controlled, drop-by-drop application, making the packaging suitable for liquid and slightly viscous products. The dark glass also helps reduce light penetration to the sensitive contents.
The glass bottle with dropper is part of a compatible packaging system and is compatible with various types of closures and dispensing options (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected directly on the product page. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially when using a high proportion of active ingredients or volatile components.

The glass bottle with dropper is commonly used specifically for formulations containing essential oils, fragrance components and concentrated actives. Before filling, we recommend performing a trial test with your specific recipe to verify the behaviour of the dropper, the sealing of the closure and the stability of the product over time.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygienic principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dropper must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected with a suitable agent, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the alcohol has completely dried and evaporated is the bottle ready to be refilled.
First remove any residues of the original contents, then rinse the bottle with warm water and a suitable detergent and rinse well with clean water. After washing, disinfect the packaging with alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99 or Ethanol 96, allow it to evaporate and dry completely. For the dropper, make sure to thoroughly flush the pipette and rubber part in accordance with the nature of your formulation.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend emptying it and removing any product residues. The glass part of the bottle can usually be placed in the appropriate glass container according to local recycling regulations. The closure with dropper is made from a combination of several materials, so it usually cannot be recycled in the same stream as glass and should be disposed of according to the recommendations arising from the material composition listed in the product parameters. Before handing it over for collection, always check the recommended recycling method in the parameter table for the product on Handymade.sk.
