The green glass bottle with a black‑gold dropper is an aesthetic and functional packaging solution designed for precise dosing of small amounts of liquids. Thanks to the combination of a high‑quality glass medicine bottle and a practical dropper, it provides controlled withdrawal of the contents, which will be appreciated by manufacturers of cosmetics, aromatherapy blends and homemade formulations alike. The coloured glass also helps to limit light penetration to sensitive formulations and supports the stability of active ingredients during storage.
This glass bottle is supplied in combination with a dropper that ensures convenient and accurate dosing. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially for products with a high content of alcohol, acids or essential oils.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, glass packaging is generally suitable for most oil‑based, aromatherapeutic and cosmetic formulations, since glass is a chemically stable material. Nevertheless, we always recommend performing your own stability test – fill a small amount of the product, monitor any changes in fragrance, colour or consistency, and verify that the dropper dispenses the contents evenly and without leakage.
The bottle can be reused provided that basic hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the packaging thoroughly, rinse it and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol solution, for example using products available on Handymade (IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, plant‑based). This minimises the risk of contamination and prevents the new product from being affected by residues of the previous formulation.
It is advisable first to rinse the glass part with a residue of a compatible oil or alcohol, then wash it with a mild cleaning agent and rinse thoroughly. After washing, the bottle should be allowed to dry completely and be disinfected with alcohol before refilling. We recommend rinsing the dropper in warm (not boiling) water, if necessary in combination with a mild detergent, and also allowing it to dry completely. Avoid using aggressive cleaning agents that could damage the rubber or plastic part of the dropper.
After clicking on the selected packaging category (for example glass bottles, jars or medicine bottles), you will find an advanced filter at the top of the page. Using this, you can clearly narrow down the offer according to several parameters – specifically by neck type, size, colour and packaging material. This allows you to quickly find a bottle or jar that will best match the type of your formulation as well as your brand’s visual identity.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend cleaning it of any product residues where possible and then recycling it according to the material composition listed in the product parameters. The glass part can normally be placed in a container designated for glass, while the dropper (a combination of plastic, rubber and possibly metal) should be sorted according to local waste collection rules or placed in mixed waste if recycling is not possible. Always follow the local sorting system and the information in the parameter table for the product.
