The glass bottle with green glass and a white-silver spray pump is a practical and aesthetic packaging solution, ideal for filling liquid cosmetic preparations, fine sprays and aromatherapeutic blends. Thanks to the durable glass and the high-quality mechanical spray pump, it enables precise and comfortable dosing while maintaining the stability and purity of the contents. The dark green glass also helps to reduce light penetration, thereby contributing to the protection of more sensitive formulations against degradation.
In this configuration, the glass bottle already includes a functional spray pump, and on Handymade it is available as a set of packaging + dispensing component. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – verifying sealing, dosing consistency, the behaviour of the packaging in long-term contact with the specific formulation, and any build-up or clogging of the nozzle.

The glass bottle with green glass is generally suitable for preparations containing essential oils, since glass is a material with good chemical resistance. In the case of a high proportion of essential oils or specific aromatherapeutic concentrates, we always recommend carrying out your own stability and compatibility test – in particular, checking the long-term behaviour of the blend in contact with the spray pump and the sealing.
The bottle can be reused if basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the packaging thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol solution, for example using products available on Handymade: isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol ethanol 96 % denatured. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and undesirable interaction between residues of the previous product and the new formulation.
For products containing oils or components prone to crystallization, we recommend that after the contents have been used up, you first flush the system with lukewarm water and then with a small amount of alcohol. Afterwards, allow the spray pump to dry thoroughly at room temperature. For thicker or highly pigmented formulations, it is advisable to check the nozzle regularly and, if performance decreases, to spray the pump through with a clean carrier that is compatible with the original formula.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend recycling it according to the material specified in the product parameters on the Handymade website. The glass part can usually be placed in the appropriate glass container after removing any product residues and separating the plastic spray pump. The spray pump, which is made from a combination of plastic and metal parts, should be disposed of as residual or sorted waste in accordance with local regulations. Always follow the recycling symbols and the recommendations given with the product.
