The glass bottle with spray atomizer is a practical packaging for various cosmetic, pharmaceutical and household formulations where fine and even atomization of the liquid is required. Thanks to glass as a stable material, it is suitable for packaging products containing active ingredients, hydrolats, toners or disinfectant solutions that require clean and chemically resistant packaging. The green glass also helps reduce light penetration, thereby supporting the protection of more sensitive contents against deterioration.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, atomizers or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected for the products offered on Handymade.sk. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – to check sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation, especially for preparations with a higher content of alcohol or essential oils.

Before first use we recommend thoroughly rinsing the bottle and the atomizer, mechanically cleaning them from any manufacturing residues and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcoholic solution. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After treatment, let all parts air out and dry well so that the residual alcohol does not mix with the final product.
Yes, the glass bottle with atomizer can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the packaging thoroughly, rinse it and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol, for example using the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. It is also recommended to check the condition of the atomizer (elasticity, flow, sealing) and to replace it in case of wear in order to maintain reliable and hygienic dosing.
The spray atomizer is ideal for low-viscosity, rather watery or alcoholic solutions that need to be applied in the form of a fine mist – for example face and body sprays, hydrolats, disinfectant solutions, air fresheners or fabric sprays. With thicker emulsions or oil blends, atomization may deteriorate, therefore we recommend always testing a small amount of product first and choosing another type of dispenser if needed.
If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend first emptying it and disposing of any remaining contents according to the nature of the product. The glass part of the bottle can in most cases be placed into sorted glass collection after cleaning, while the plastic atomizer (and any seals or caps) is usually sorted into plastic waste. Always adapt specific recycling recommendations to the information given in the parameter table for the product and to the local waste sorting rules in your municipality or city.
