Plastic bottle made from high-quality PET material represents a practical packaging solution suitable for liquid and lightly viscous products where clean dosing and a professional appearance of the finished product are important. Thanks to the durable plastic, this pharmaceutical dropper bottle is ideal for packing cosmetic preparations, homemade formulations and products for artisanal production, while providing reliable protection of the contents during storage and use.
The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend mechanically rinsing the bottle, removing residues of the previous product and then disinfecting it with a suitable disinfectant. For disinfection we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After treatment, allow the packaging to air out thoroughly and dry. As this is PET material, we do not recommend cleaning in a dishwasher or boiling, in order to avoid deformation of the packaging.
PET packaging is commonly used for preparations containing alcohol or essential oils as well, but it is always important to test the specific formulation. We recommend preparing a small trial batch, filling it into the bottle, combining it with the selected closure and observing for several days any potential changes – softening of the walls, change of colour, change of odour or leakage of the closure. Such a test will help you verify long-term compatibility between the packaging and the contents without risking damage to the product or the packaging.
Store the bottle in a dry place protected from direct sunlight and sources of heat. PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures, so avoid placing the packaging on radiators, near hot appliances or in environments with extreme temperatures (for example in a car in direct sunlight). In the long term, ideal conditions are room temperature and normal air humidity, which helps maintain the shape, strength and visual quality of the packaging.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material specified in the product parameters on the Handymade website. First empty the bottle, remove any remaining contents and, if possible, rinse it. Then place it in the collection container designated for plastics, following your local waste-sorting rules. The closure or dispenser may be made from a different type of plastic than the bottle itself, so sort it separately if required by the local waste collection system. By sorting waste correctly, you support efficient recycling and a reduction in the volume of waste.
To select suitable packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the specific packaging category. In the advanced filter you can clearly choose parameters such as neck type, size, colour or packaging material and display only those bottles, pharmaceutical bottles or jars that are suitable for your formulation. In this way you can quickly find compatible solutions for cosmetics, aromatherapy and other product types without having to browse the entire range manually.
