Plastic pill jar with black lid represents a practical solution for packaging and safely storing solid and loose products where protection of the contents from dust and normal handling is important. Thanks to its thoughtfully designed construction, this pill bottle can reliably protect tablets, capsules, powder blends or small cosmetic items and keep them in a stable environment during storage and use.
The brown colour of the plastic in combination with the non-transparent design helps to limit light penetration to more sensitive formulations, which is particularly suitable for products prone to degradation when exposed to daylight. The body of the jar together with the functional closure creates a practical, reliable and easy-to-store packaging for food supplements, cosmetic powders or laboratory samples.
Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

The jar can be reused if hygienic principles are observed, but we recommend always dedicating it to one type of product (for example only tablets or only cosmetic powder). Before each new filling, the packaging must be carefully cleaned and disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection, you can use the products IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96 % denatured, available in our range.
Before reuse, first mechanically clean the jar from residues of the original contents, then wash it with a suitable cleaning agent and rinse thoroughly. After drying, we recommend disinfecting both the inner and outer surfaces with alcohol, for example using the products IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol 1 l or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based 1 l. After applying the alcohol, leave the packaging to dry at room temperature and only then refill it.
The jar is ideal for solid and loose products such as tablets, capsules, granulated blends, vitamin complexes, cosmetic and mineral powders, or small components used in the production of cosmetics or supplements. The compact shape and tightly fitting lid make dosing, storage and transport easier without unnecessary spillage of the contents.
If you decide not to reuse the jar, we recommend recycling it according to the type of plastic indicated in the product parameters on our website. After removing any remaining contents, place the empty packaging in the appropriate sorted waste container for that material (most commonly plastic). By respecting local waste-sorting rules, you help ensure that the material can be reused in the recycling process.
