The plastic bottle represents a practical and versatile solution for packaging liquid and slightly viscous preparations where cleanliness, easy handling and reliable dosing are important. Thanks to its well-thought-out shape and pleasant ergonomics, it fits comfortably in the hand, which makes filling, storage and everyday use easier in home cosmetics, artisan production and small-scale manufacturing of products.
The packaging is designed to be suitable for various formulations – from watery solutions and toners to light emulsions. The smooth surface of the bottle is ideal for applying labels and branding, thanks to which the final product looks professional and consistent across the entire product line.
The individual bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters for the specific product. The packaging and closure combinations that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test – verifying sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation so that the final product is stable and user-friendly.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, it is important to wash the bottle carefully, rinse it and then disinfect it, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. Only after it has completely dried is the packaging ready to be used again with a new fill.
First remove all residues of the original product, rinse the packaging with warm water and a mild cleansing agent and then rinse thoroughly with clean water. Then apply disinfection using alcohol – for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. After treatment, let the packaging dry completely at room temperature in a clean place and only then proceed to fill it with new contents.
To select suitable packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter in the packaging materials category. After clicking on the relevant category, an option to filter according to several parameters – for example neck type, size, colour or material – is displayed at the top of the page. This allows you to quickly narrow down the offer to packaging that will correspond to your formulation and to the visual requirements for the final product.
Plastic packaging of this type is not intended to be exposed to high temperatures, therefore boiling it or washing it in a dishwasher is not recommended. Under excessive thermal stress, the material may deform and the sealing properties of the closure may deteriorate. For cleaning and disinfection it is more appropriate to use lukewarm water and alcohol-based disinfectant solutions that are gentle on the material.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it as a priority according to the type of plastic stated in the product parameters. First empty the bottle, remove any remaining contents and rinse the packaging. Then sort it into the appropriate container for separated waste according to the material marking on the label or in the product description. By sorting correctly, you support the reprocessing of plastic and reduce the amount of municipal waste.
The choice of closure depends on the consistency and the way your product is used. For watery solutions, classic screw caps or droppers are practical, for toners and sprays sprayer heads are suitable, and for thicker preparations various types of applicators can be comfortable. When selecting, pay attention to the neck designation in the product parameters and, before placing on the market, always test the sealing, dosing and overall behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation.
