The plastic bottle is a universal container suitable for both professional and artisanal packaging of various liquid preparations. Thanks to its practical shape and reliable neck, it is ideal for hygienic and clean filling of cosmetic, craft or technical formulations that require convenient handling and secure closure. The opaque design helps protect more sensitive contents from light and at the same time discreetly hides the colour of the product, which is advantageous for serial production as well as for branding your own label.
Individual plastic bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems, such as screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators – always according to the selected parameters in the product detail. Combinations of containers and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the container in contact with the specific formulation) so that you can be sure the chosen combination is suitable for your particular product.
All technical parameters of the container are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the container can be reused under normal use, provided that proper hygiene and gentle handling are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly washing the bottle, mechanically cleaning it from residues of the previous fill and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol‑based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. Only after it has completely dried is the container ready for a new filling.
If you decide not to use the container any further, it is appropriate to clean it from product residues and place it in sorted collection according to the type of plastic indicated in the product parameters and on the container marking. Follow the recycling symbol and material code – according to these, place it in the appropriate bin for separated waste. We recommend separating the bottle from the closure or pump so that sorting is more efficient. By correct recycling, you support the reuse of the material in further products.
Plastic packaging is generally sensitive to high temperatures, so it is not recommended to fill it with hot or still boiling blends. It is advisable to let the warm product cool down to room temperature first and only then fill it into the bottle. This reduces the risk of deformation of the container, excessive internal pressure and changes in the properties of the plastic used. When preparing products, always plan time for the gradual cooling of the finished formulation before filling.
The bottle is primarily designed for packaging liquid and semi‑liquid formulations, such as toners, waters or thin emulsions. For thicker preparations, the selected type of closure or dispenser plays an important role – for example, a pump for more viscous emulsions or a flip‑top cap for thinner creams. Before putting it into regular operation, we recommend testing whether the selected combination of container and dosing system allows smooth and comfortable use without excessive pressure or clogging of the neck.
To select a suitable container, we recommend using the advanced filter in the packaging categories. After clicking on the relevant category, you will find the filter in the upper part of the page, where you can narrow the range according to several parameters. Filtering is available by type of neck, required size, colour and material. Thanks to the combination of these criteria, you will quickly find bottles, pill bottles, jars or pots that best match the character of your product and the desired dosing method.
