Only after it is completely dry is the bottle ready for further safe use.

How should the packaging be properly cleaned before first use and between individual fillings?

Before first use as well as for repeated filling, we recommend first rinsing the medicine bottle with a suitable cleaning solution or warm water with a gentle detergent, then rinsing thoroughly with clean water and allowing it to drain. After mechanical cleaning, it is advisable to disinfect the inner surface and the closure using alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant. Before filling, the packaging must be completely dry in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination and an effect on the stability of the formula.

How can this bottle be safely disposed of and recycled if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to use the bottle further, we recommend first emptying it and, where possible, removing residues of the original contents. The method of sorting and recycling the packaging is governed by the material designation stated in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade website.
