The plastic bottle with disc-top closure represents a practical and professional packaging solution suitable for various liquid and semi-liquid products. Thanks to the thoughtfully designed container and functional dispensing, it is ideal for cosmetic formulations, hygiene preparations and contents for which fast and controlled use is important. The smooth surface of the packaging allows for easy labelling and for creating a uniform visual identity of your brand, while the bottle is also suitable for smaller series and artisanal production.
This packaging is supplied as a combination of bottle and disc-top closure, so it is immediately ready for filling and use without the need to search for separately compatible components. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure that the packaging corresponds to the specifics of your product.

The disc-top closure is most practical for liquid and semi-liquid preparations, such as lotions, gels, shampoos, conditioners or liquid soaps. For very thick creams, dosing through this type of closure can be difficult, so in such a case we recommend considering packaging in jars or bottles with a pump, which you can find in the relevant packaging categories on Handymade.
The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles are followed. Before each filling, we recommend mechanically cleaning the bottle and the closure, rinsing them and then thoroughly disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation. For this purpose, you can use, for example, the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Allow the disinfectant to evaporate and only then fill the packaging, in order to minimise contamination of your product.
If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend, as a first step, completely emptying it and giving it a basic rinse. Then dispose of it according to the recycling rules listed for this product in the parameter table on the Handymade website – there you will find information on the type of material and the recommended fraction of sorted waste. In general, clean plastic packaging is usually placed in the container intended for plastic; however, always follow local sorting instructions and the information given for the specific product.

With it, you can quickly filter available containers according to parameters such as neck type, size, colour and material. In this way, you can easily narrow down the offer to packaging that meets the needs of your specific product and your preferred design.
The disc-top closure provides, when correctly closed, reliable protection against unintended opening, so the bottle is also suitable for carrying in a cosmetic bag or travel luggage. However, we recommend always snapping the closure shut carefully, checking the sealing after filling, and keeping it in an upright position during transport, possibly in a protective case or pouch together with other cosmetic products.
