Is this plastic bottle suitable for repeated use?

The packaging can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling it is necessary to thoroughly clean the bottle and the dispensing part and then disinfect them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Disinfection before filling helps minimise the microbial risk and prolongs the usability of your formulations.

How should I correctly clean and prepare the packaging before first use?

Before the first filling we recommend rinsing the bottle with suitable clean water or, if necessary, with a cleaning solution compatible with the packaging material and then allowing it to dry thoroughly. After drying it is suitable to disinfect the internal surfaces and parts in contact with the fill with alcohol-based preparations, such as isopropyl alcohol or plant ethanol. Only after the alcohol has completely evaporated can you fill the packaging with the final product.

How should I correctly store the packaging in order to preserve the functionality of the dispenser?

Store the packaging in a dry and clean environment, protected from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. It is advisable to protect the dispenser from dust and dirt, especially if the bottle is empty or open. In the case of longer storage of a filled packaging we recommend ensuring that the dispenser is always tightly screwed on, thereby minimising the risk of the product drying in the dispensing orifice and the subsequent deterioration of dosing flow.

How can I safely dispose of and recycle this packaging if I do not want to continue using it?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend, after thoroughly emptying and rinsing it, sorting it according to the type of plastic stated in the parameter table at the product. You can also follow the recycling symbol on the body of the bottle. Then place the bottle and the dispenser in the relevant sorting container intended for that type of plastic waste. In this way you minimise the impact on the environment and enable efficient processing of the used packaging material.
