Plastic bottle – medicine bottle with click closure represents a practical and hygienic packaging suitable for filling various liquid and powdered preparations. Closing by means of a click mechanism allows convenient dispensing and reduces the risk of unintended opening during transport or storage. Thanks to the durable plastic material, the bottle is stable, lightweight and suitable for artisan as well as small-scale production of cosmetics and other specialties.
This type of medicine bottle is popular for packaging products where clean dispensing, easy handling and secure closure are important. The compact shape simplifies both filling and labelling, so the packaging is suitable for home and professional use within handmade production.
Individual bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing options according to the selected product parameters. They can be combined, for example, with screw caps, dropper inserts, spray heads or practical applicators, provided they are designed for the given neck and closing system.
The packaging–closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – checking sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, oil content, alcohol content, pH, etc.).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if handled correctly and if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean and disinfect the bottle thoroughly in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination of the product. For disinfection we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol intended for this purpose, available in the Handymade range. After disinfection, allow the packaging to dry completely and only then refill it.
Before repeated use, we recommend first rinsing the bottle with a residual compatible medium (for example a suitable oil or distilled water, depending on the type of the original contents), then washing it with a mild, non-aggressive cleaning agent and rinsing thoroughly. After washing, the packaging must be disinfected using a suitable alcohol and allowed to dry completely. When cleaning, avoid very hot water and aggressive chemicals that could shorten the service life of the plastic or affect its appearance.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste separation rules and with the information given in the parameters of the specific product on the Handymade website. Before handing it over for recycling, remove any product residues, any labels and, where possible, rinse the packaging. Then place it in the appropriate container according to the type of plastic indicated in the parameter table. By following these steps, you will contribute to more efficient material processing and a reduction in the amount of waste.
When filling thicker or oily formulations, it is advisable first to test the behaviour of the product in a small trial amount. Observe whether the material of the closure and bottle seals well, whether any seepage occurs, and whether dosing is practical during normal use. It is also recommended not to exceed the maximum filling level so that there is enough space for closing the cap without forcing out the contents. With a high proportion of oils or solvents, always carry out a compatibility test over a shorter time period to identify any changes to the packaging in good time.
To select suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter available at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In the advanced filter, products can be sorted according to several parameters, such as neck type, size, colour or packaging material. Thanks to this, you can quickly narrow down the offer to packaging that meets your requirements for design, functionality and compatibility with existing closures or dispensing systems. If anything is unclear, we recommend comparing several packaging options and also taking into account the nature of the specific product you plan to fill.
