Plastic medicine bottle made of durable material represents a practical and lightweight packaging for various liquid as well as powdered preparations. Thanks to the reliable screw cap it helps protect the contents against unwanted leakage and contamination, which makes it a suitable choice for homemade formulations, small production batches and laboratory samples.
This type of bottle is designed to allow convenient filling, easy handling and safe storage of products. The stable shape and surface contribute to clear organization on shelves, in drawers and bags, while the closure provides a practical protection system during transport and everyday use.
The standalone bottle is designed to be compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the selected product parameters. Depending on the specific use, it is possible to choose screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators that enable more precise dosing or more convenient application of the preparation.
Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test – verifying the sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation during both short-term and longer-term storage.
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the enclosed packaging quality certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging can be used repeatedly when handled correctly, but it is recommended to follow basic hygiene principles. Before each new filling, the medicine bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected with a suitable disinfectant, for example with isopropyl alcohol from the range IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or with plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the inside of the packaging is completely dry is it appropriate to proceed with refilling.
Before reuse we recommend first rinsing the packaging with a suitable cleaning solution and thoroughly removing residues of the original product. Then it is appropriate to carry out disinfection using an alcohol solution, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, leave the medicine bottle and the closure to dry freely at room temperature so that no liquid residues remain inside that could affect the stability of the new contents.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is appropriate to recycle it according to the type of material specified in the product parameters. Before placing it in the appropriate sorted waste, we recommend emptying the packaging, possibly quickly rinsing it from residual contents and separating the closure if it is made of another type of plastic. A bottle prepared in this way is more suitable for recycling processing and reduces the environmental burden.
On Handymade, when choosing packaging you can use the advanced filter, which is located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging material category. The filtering allows you to sort products clearly according to parameters such as neck type, size, colour and packaging material. Thanks to this, you can quickly narrow down the offer to packaging that meets the specific requirements of your product and the planned dosing method.
Before filling a larger quantity, we recommend performing a compatibility test with the specific formulation. Fill a smaller trial amount of the product into one bottle and observe the behaviour of the packaging material and the closure during normal handling and under the planned storage conditions (temperature, light, humidity). Check the sealing, any changes in colour or possible softening and verify whether the dosing and handling of the contents correspond to your requirements. Only after a successful test is it appropriate to proceed with filling the entire production batch.
