Plastic bottle with closure represents a practical solution for packaging various liquid and powder preparations in the field of cosmetics, household chemicals or home-made formulations. The durable plastic material ensures reliable preservation of the contents and, in combination with a suitable closure, helps minimize the risk of spillage, contamination or unwanted leakage of the product during storage and use.
The bottle is designed to be easy to fill, label and use in practice – whether for home recipes, small artisan batches or professional use. Thanks to high-quality workmanship, the packaging is stable, keeps its shape well and enables accurate dosing according to the selected type of closure.
This bottle is intended as a standalone package and is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the selected product parameters. It can be combined, for example, with screw caps, dropper inserts, dispensing caps, spray heads or practical applicators, which make it possible to set the mode of use precisely according to the type of formulation.
Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, dosing, back suction and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific mixture (viscosity, content of alcohol, oils or surface-active substances).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Since this is a plastic package made of PET material, it is necessary to take into account specific requirements for use and maintenance. PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures, in particular prolonged heating or contact with boiling water. Under excessive thermal load there is a risk of deformation of the packaging and deterioration of the closure function. The packaging is not suitable for cleaning in a dishwasher or for boiling; for cleaning we recommend a gentle procedure at room temperature to slightly elevated temperature.
Yes, the bottle can be used repeatedly if correct hygiene practices are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol (/ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/){target="_blank"} or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný (/etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/){target="_blank"}. After disinfection, allow the interior of the bottle to dry completely and only then fill it again.
PET material does not tolerate long-term contact with high temperatures, so do not wash the bottle in a dishwasher and do not boil it. Manual cleaning with lukewarm water and a small amount of mild detergent is recommended, followed by thorough rinsing and drying. Before each new filling, it is always advisable to disinfect the interior of the package with an alcohol solution and allow it to dry completely at room temperature.
The compatibility of the PET packaging with products containing alcohol, essential oils or other active substances depends on the specific concentration and the overall composition of the formulation. Before practical use we recommend performing your own test – fill a smaller amount of product, observe the behaviour of the material (change of shape, softening, discolouration) and verify the sealing capability of the chosen closure. If you plan long-term storage of concentrated mixtures, it is advisable to perform a stability test under conditions close to real use.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is recommended to recycle it according to the material type specified in the product parameters. For PET plastic this generally means emptying the bottle and rinsing it as well as possible to remove product residues, separating the closure (if it is made of another material) and placing the packaging into the collection container intended for plastic waste according to local sorting rules. By following the recommended recycling method you support efficient waste processing in the recycling system.
From a technical point of view, the packaging can, after thorough cleaning and disinfection, also be used for different types of fillings, but it is always important to consider the practical and safety aspects. After products with an intensive fragrance or colourants, a slight odour or discolouration may remain in the material, which may not be suitable for subsequent use. When changing the type of filling, it is therefore essential to carefully clean the bottle, disinfect it (for example using /ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/ or /etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/ {target="_blank"}) and consider whether the residual odour or discolouration is acceptable in terms of the new use.
The simplest way to choose a suitable package is to use the extended filter in the packaging material categories. After clicking on the relevant category (for example bottles, vials, jars or pots), you will find the extended filter at the top of the page. There you can filter clearly according to neck type, packaging size, colour and material, and thus quickly narrow down the offer to packaging that best meets the requirements of your formulation and intended use.
