Can this plastic bottle be used repeatedly?

Yes, the container can be reused if handled correctly and hygiene rules are followed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and cap and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol solution, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the packaging has dried completely is it appropriate to refill the bottle with your product.

How can I safely clean the plastic container without risking damage to the material?

For regular cleaning, we recommend using lukewarm water with a mild detergent and a soft brush or sponge to avoid scratching the surface. Avoid aggressive solvents and direct contact with very hot water, which could put excessive stress on the material. After washing, rinse the container thoroughly, allow it to dry completely and, before refilling, disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based product according to the type of formulation being filled.

How should I correctly recycle this plastic container if I no longer wish to use it?

If you decide not to reuse the container, we recommend emptying it, rinsing it as thoroughly as possible of product residues and sorting it according to the material designation in the product parameter table. Then place both the bottle and the cap into the appropriate sorted waste according to local recycling rules. Separate any individual components (such as inserts, gaskets or pumps) if they are made of a different material, so that sorting is as accurate as possible and recycling is effective.

Is this bottle suitable for thicker emulsions or rather for liquid preparations?

Thanks to its shape and type of closure, the bottle is most suitable for liquid to medium-viscosity preparations, such as tonics, light emulsions or oil blends. For thicker creams and balms, dosing may be less comfortable, so in such cases a jar or pot is often more suitable from a practical point of view. Before making a final decision, we recommend testing your specific recipe in a small quantity directly in the packaging.
